    2. Get an instant redline

Every insertion, deletion, and table change is called out word by word, generated locally in seconds.

  3. 3

    3. Download both copies

A marked-up redline .docx and a clean final copy — both real files, ready to send.

01 / Why

"Looks the same to me" is how the wrong version gets signed.

Comparing two versions of a document by eye misses things — a changed number three paragraphs down, a deleted clause, a table cell that quietly moved. This tool diffs both files word by word and shows you precisely what moved, what was added, and what was removed, so nothing slips through because it looked fine at a glance.

02 / Features

Built for people who actually read every line

Word-level redlines

Every change is highlighted down to the word — insertions underlined, deletions struck through — not just "this paragraph changed."

Table changes included

Added, removed, and edited table cells are called out too, not silently skipped the way many diff tools handle tables.

Two clean downloads

A ready-to-send clean copy and a separate marked-up copy, both real .docx files that open in Word, Google Docs, or LibreOffice.

Nothing leaves your browser

Both documents are parsed and compared entirely client-side. Nothing is uploaded to a server, ever.

Privacy, not a checkbox

Neither document is ever uploaded. You can verify it yourself.

Both .docx files are parsed and diffed locally, right in this tab. Open your browser's network inspector before comparing — you won't find a single request carrying the file contents.

03 / FAQ

Comparator FAQ

Do both documents get uploaded to compare them?

No. Both files are parsed and compared locally in your browser. Neither one is sent to a server.

Does it work if the original already has tracked changes in it?

Not yet — documents with existing tracked changes, comments, headers, or footers aren't supported. You'll get a clear message instead of a corrupted result.

Can I compare two versions saved in the editor, not just uploaded files?

Yes. Any two saved checkpoints from the editor — adjacent or ten apart — can be compared directly, in either order.

What do I actually get at the end?

Two .docx downloads: a redline copy with every change marked, and a clean copy of the final result — both real files, not screenshots or PDFs.
